Are you a teen aspiring to attend art school or submit a portfolio in your college application? Amelia Shull is offering specialized workshops designed to help you build a compelling portfolio and craft impactful artist statements. Gain the skills and confidence you need to stand out in competitive applications, and get it all done before the earliest deadlines mid-October and November 1st, 2025! Great for Seniors, and wonderful for 9th-11th graders who would like to engage in the process so that they are more poised to stay reflective and organized as artists looking ahead. Weekend Portfolio Intensives: Sundays (1 PM - 6 PM)

These intensive weekend small group sessions will guide you through creating dynamic portfolio pieces and refining your artistic voice. Get it all done in one afternoon stretch! We will focus on your creative strengths and make sure your art is organized and ready for any applications or next steps. You can receive a discount if you sign up for both Intensives for $350 total. Limited scholarships (and spots) are available, reach out!

• Additional Focus: Curating What You’ve Already Made & Writing About Your Unique Concepts

  October Portfolio Intensive: 5 hours, $200

• Sunday, October 12th

• Additional Focus: Completing your Application Using Your Voice & Portfolio Refinement

After-School Portfolio & Writing immersions (4 pm - 6 pm)

These multi-session immersions offer focused instruction over time on both visual art creation and the crucial skill of writing about your work for applications. Focus: Drawing & Observation for Portfolio Strength, Artist Statement Essentials, Putting It All In Order + Crafting Your Narrative for Portfolio Writing. We will warm up with drawing exercises, share work, and have multiple mini-workshops (and smart breaks) each session to help you continue to craft your identity and personal process as an artist.  You can receive a discount if you sign up for both After School Immersions for $550 total. September After-School Immersions: 8 hours, $300
